Sodexo is seeking a full time Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic team at BSA Harrington Cancer Center to work outpatient oncology in Amarillo, TX.

What You'll Do

• Work in the ambulatory oncology clinic supporting medical oncology, hematology and radiation oncology patients
• Management of patients requiring nutrition support, primarily enteral nutrition in the outpatient setting.
• Be able to provide nutrition education to patients, caregivers and in group and community settings; provide nutrition support recommendations and nutrition assessment including nutrition-focused physical exams.
• Monitor and evaluate patient care outcomes on an ongoing basis
• Participate in departmental, clinical, and other committee meetings related to areas of practice
• Have a strong focus on driving outstanding patient satisfaction results and driving process improvement activities.

• Be an excellent communicator and have the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
• Be able to creatively problem solve, work independently with minimal supervision and make decisions while working within a self-directed and team-oriented work environment
• Be Registered Dietitian and Licensed in Texas

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
