**DESCRIPTION** Technical specialist and primary customer support contact to diagnose and execute complex repairs to generators and components at the customer's site. We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in (Avondale, AZ) **We offer sign-on bonus up to $9000, relocation, competitive pay and benefits!** In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: + Completing repair activities on generators or components + Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner + Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools + Maintain detailed records of service + Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies + Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products + Maintain own tools In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: + Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities. + High Voltage / Low Voltage experience. + Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision - hands on exposure to working on power generation products. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **(Advanced):** + Setup, troubleshoot and repair basic paralleling generator systems. + Understanding switchgear schematics. + Able to train Entry/Intermediate Technicians/Mechanics. **QUALIFICATIONS** + A current valid license is required for this role + This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations + This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical + 3 years driving experience + This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use + Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age **Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range.
